什么 is the TigerCARE (Campus Assessment Response Evaluation) Program 和 Concerning Behaviors?

The TigerCARE Program

The TigerCARE Team is dedicated to a proactive, coordinated 和 planned approach to the identification, 预防, 评估, 管理, 和 reduction of interpersonal 和 behavior threats to the safety 和 well-being of Southern Crescent Technical College students, 教师, 工作人员, 和游客.

It is the responsibility of 教师, 工作人员, 和 students to immediately report any situation that could possibly result in harm to anyone in the college community.

Concerning Behaviors

Violent fantasies, anger problems, fascination with weapons 和 accoutrements, homicidal ideation, 跟踪, non-compliance or disciplinary matters, academic misconduct 和 dishonesty, interest in previous shooting situations, victim/martyr self-concept, strangeness 和 aberrant behavior, 偏执, violence 和 cruelty, 表现出, recent police contact, mental health history related to dangerousness, unusual interest in police, 军事, terrorist activities 和 materials, 跟踪, speaking or writing that seems bizarre, suicidal ideation, or use of drugs 和/or alcohol.

How to Report an Incident to the TigerCARE Program?

Individuals can submit referrals in the following ways:

1. Submit an online report: Concerning Behavior Form
2. Contact a TigerCARE Team Member (Names 和 联系人 listed below)
3. Contact Campus Police: Listed at the bottom of this page or on the Campus Police & 公共安全 page
4. Anonymous referrals can be submitted by phone, email, or by submission of a Concerning Behavior Form

Special Services provides assurances that individuals who are members of Special Populations have equal access to recruitment, 招生, career services activities 和 the full range of technical education programs 和 activities. Special Populations students are individuals from economically disadvantaged families, including foster children (Receiving PELL, WIA, TANF, VOC康复, 等.), single parents, single pregnant women, displaced homemakers, 和 individuals with a disability.
